Alexandra Masmanidi lives and works as a photographer in Athens. She focuses on creating works with her photographic archive as raw material, which she recomposes, combines or intervenes with the collage techniques of painting, sculpture, etc.
Masmanidi highlights themes related to ecology, sexuality and individual identity. With her practice, she tries to create imaginary worlds - through documentary photography - and restore the bonds between nature and human being.
